Application Requirements

Anyone can apply, regardless of age, gender, nationality, professional or amateur. If you are under 18 years of age, please obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before applying. If you are under 18 years of age, your application will be considered to have been submitted with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Contest Rules

Performance time must be at least 5 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes (no more than 12 minutes including onstage set-up and removal). Only if interrupted by equipment trouble can the performance be restarted with approval of the convention committee; no other redo is permitted. Please prepare all the stuff and assistants yourself, including any living animals if needed. We may contact you separately during the video selection process for performances that may conflict with the venues terms of use (those using large amounts of fire, water, living creatures, etc.).

Prohibited Items

Fire: All prohibited. Smoke: Only water-based items are allowed. Animals: Allowed. However, if you use them, you must make all the arrangements yourself. Liquids: Allowed, but waterproof mats must be prepared by individuals when used. Sand: All prohibited. Microphones: Not available for rent.
